Episode 103: Maria Goodavage

The guys sit down with former USA Today journalist, and published author, Maria Goodavage, to discuss a different angle to Working Dogs. Goodavage has published a handful of books, including “Soldier Dogs, the Untold Story of America’s Canine Heroes”, “Top Dog, the Story of Marine Hero Lucca”, “Secret Service Dogs, the Heroes Who Protect the President of the United States”, and most recently “Doctor Dogs, How Our Best Friends are Becoming Our Best Medicine”. She certainly has a unique view to the working dog industry, and a true respect for what these dogs are capable of, from harrowing tales of saving our military personnel’s lives , to how keenly able their noses are at detecting hidden things, like cancer .
